Another great addition to the cafés in Karachi is the new Italian cafe which goes by the name Café Barista Lavazza and it is surely living up to the expectation with its signature aromatic coffee.
The soft launch of Lavazza Cafe took place on Wednesday, 15 October from 7 pm to 10 pm at 2nd Floor, Dolmen Mall Clifton, Karachi.
Although, the cafe shares the same floor as the food court, it is located around the Designer lounge surrounded by stores like Aisha Hashwani & Sana Maskatiya which gives it a premium feel altogether.
Needless to say, the soft launch was pulled successfully by some great Event Management skills of Anisa & Amina Rashid Khan of RAKA (or well, RAK Associates) while Golin brilliantly handled the PR. The host of the night was Ayesha Omar while Rubya Chaudry was also spotted along with Maheen Khan. DJ Shakir played a great selection of music given the mood of the night.
The crowd of celebrities, bloggers, media/PR people gathered to celebrate the launch of the most loved Italian cafe. Upon entrance we could feel the coffee aroma in the air. Bite snacks like Philly cheese steak sandwiches, Pesto & Feta Pizza, Margarita Pizza, Italian Pizza & Mini Burgers were served along with Cheese Cake & Chocolate Fudge Cake.
There was an option of Coffee (hot and cold) or/and Mocktails in drinks. I obviously chose both. The drink I tried was called Champagne (non-alcoholic soda).
Take a look at the food pictures I clicked. Some above mentioned food pictures are missing, and well you can guess the reason. I was too tempted to eat it all at first glance lol.
Met a lot of people from Digital Media & Advertising industry like @Mariumshj, @SaraMuzzammil, @FadsterJ, @PahujaPriyanka @samramuslim, @Shazyaamir, @HusnainMinawala & @SundusRahseed, @Umairyousufs, @Diffthinking2 along with @Fareshte & @Gulas98 from Golin PR.
Altogether, I really liked the ambiance. Lovely brown furniture with a splash of orange gives it a nice cozy look to hangout with your friends/colleagues. The overall feel of the cafe is vibrant, stylish and yet so sober which I personally loved!
Here’s my rating:
